What did you think about Camacho losing a point against Haugen for hitting his opponent when the ref ordered them to touch gloves before the beginning of the twelfth?

Yeah, there's just no point to do it before the fight.

Didn't Haugen refuse to touch gloves with Camacho first?

I could be wrong because I haven't seen it in a while but from what I remember, Camacho reached out to touch gloves, Haugen refused, the referee then insisted they touch gloves, Camacho starts punching.

If so, that ref should have went to the gallows for costing Camacho his first loss.

first time that i disagree with silencer & scully on something...

I do think that the touch of gloves its important .... maybe not necesary but at least it keeps the image of boxing as a GENTLEMENS sport...and also is just hype things up when 2 guys hate each other. .and they are force to do the "RIGHT THING" like "lets keep it clean" its more an IMAGE THING i think... just my opinion...

Whether it is hype or not... when u are in that ring u often do NOT feel like touching gloves..I always used to look away and just flick my arm out in the direction of my opponent....it was IRRITATING more than anything... there was no genuine sportsmanship from me in those moments and it was obvious..and it should be... I mean, we are about to -F-I-G-H-T... I dont want to touch gloves. Period
