I dont see the problem with him taking a fight that doesnt present much risk in his first fight since moving up (not counting the one off fight he came up for).

He should take a few fights to settle into the weight, maybe 2. Then go for a top contender, if he gets past him then look towards Wlad.

So for his first outing a recognisable name (maybe exchamp) that wont just roll over but doesnt provide too much of a threat would be a good choice.

        What's he waiting for?

I have a theory on Haye. He wants to fight old, shot Oleg Maskaev, who turns 40 in six months time. So he has to wait for Maskaev to have his fight with Robert Hawkins on Saturday.

Look for an announcement next week that Haye will fight Maskaev. And if he can't get Maskaev, he'll try for another shot fighter, Hasbeen Rahman.

Haye is ignoring Barrett's requests to fight, he's not shot enough. Neither is Tony Thomson, who also wants the fight.

And he wouldn't take a chance against a prime top heavyweight like Eddie Chambers, who's been calling him out.

No, Haye will fight an older, shot opponent because HE"S NOT THE REAL DEAL AND HE KNOWS IT. HE JUST WANTS TO CASH IN AGAINST WLAD NEXT YEAR.
That's what I also think. There was a reason he would lose allot of weight to fight at CW when he's a natural HW. Haye has talked himself into a big payday with Wlad that he couldn't get at CW, and he will not risk it by facing a live opponent IMO.

ladies please. Anyway, Haye should go against Chambers or Mollo maybe even Minto? Probably not he don't like to come out of ******ia. Someone hungry for a win, hungry to prove themselves you know? Ain't no country for old men so Maskaev should hit the road but Barrett is a good idea. Barrett has always been decent, if he had the determination in that Fields fight for the Rahman fight he would've been champ but that's just my opinion.

Dirrell does have skill no doubt but I don't think he has the will Andre has. Dre would probably get a UD over Dirrell but that's cuz I'm bias dog, it won't happen for awhile cuz word is Dre ain't gonna be comin back all year. Goosen don't give him any good contenders just dudes on the way down of their careers. Dre's ready for a guy like Dirrell or Allan Green or Miranda once he comes outta surgery. It'll be awhile Terrible.. I would say Haye will definitely be a title holder before Andre Ward is, we'll leave it at that.
