Imagine if that fight had happened? Hamed wins by KO=Marquez fans can't claim that he's undefeated and always gets robbed.

Marquez wins=he gets big fights with a prime Barrera and Morales.

It would've changed things quite a bit, whatever happened.
Yeah, would have been interesting. Hamed went with the "easier" opponent in Barrera.

I recall seeing a few of Lipseys fights, and i recall him being a fighter with a lot of hype. As was some other fighter but i can't remember his name. He had the wbo title and was supposed to be the best middleweight but then i think he retired or had an injury.

Hopkins v. Bo James, yeah, Hopkins shinned not! ****en let down. And i think because he was drained most of the time at his middleweight reing is why he wasn't as explosive as he should of been.

Hopkins never blew up before Trinidad because he always was hot and cold. He could look great in one fight then have a ****y looking performance and the obvious he never signed with King, if Hopkins never joined GBP we wouldn't even care about Hopkins least he wouldnt of blown up like he did cause he didn't know what to do after he beat Trinidad and imo, he was scared of rematching Triniada, in never giving Trinidad a rematch.
Who wasn't explosive? Hopkins?? Dude I don't think I've seen a modern day middleweight with so much stamina, not even modern day welterweights. Hopkins never looked gassed, and used to always say he wished fights were still 15 rnds. Why would he be scared of rematching a guy that he already beat for 12 rounds and then knocked him out? He was scared of wasting a training camp for a guy he already ruined maybe.. What was there to prove? What did Trinidad do to deserve a rematch? Retire? Lose 12 straight rounds to another fighter? Retire again? Gain 20 lbs and lose again? Trinidad had an amazing career, but post Hopkins he's done nothing to warrant a megafight (aside from mayorga which only set up his 2nd most embarrassing loss). You're underrating an ATG and you're making me doubt you've watched his career.

well at least he won't get robbed against pacquiao anymore.

95% he never gets a fight with manny. in fact 95% manny never fights at 135 again.

Do you just underrate all fighters that blemish the career of your favorites? Naseem was pretty clearly afraid of what JMM was gonna do to him. I dunno how he kept his belt while ducking his mandatory for about 2 years.

Yeah, a third fight would've been interesting. KOTF could've had a poll on how many knockdowns Pac would score.

Hopefully de la Hoya breaks a leg while walking around in Domain's high heels, then the fight will be off and Pac can finally stop ducking Margarito.

I really, really hope Manny wins by KO against fishnets.

Hamed fought Barrera and Kelly, as well as the other belt holders at FW. He also fought undefeated Ingle, who went on to win the IBF belt. He also fought the guy who had been champ at SBW for 750 years, Bungu. Why would he fight these people, but not Marquez? What had Marquez shown back then that made him better than the rest of Hamed's opposition?

whose career has jmm blemished? barrera? that **** don't even count. prime vs. prime marco beats the crap out of marquez.

how do you know naseem was scared of jmm? maybe steward or warren was wary but how many fighters are literally scared of someone? please......

jmm's entire career and legacy has been based on two things. people ducked him and he was robbed.

he was robbed 4 times against norwood , john and pacquiao? ever think maybe his style is to blame for him being the victim of those "robberies"?

barrera , hamed , pacquiao and morales ducked him? morales fight was offered. JMM WAS THE ONE THAT TURNED IT DOWN. pacquiao fought him already and when it was a draw hbo offered both fighters $750K a piece for an immediate rematch. JMM TURNED THAT ONE DOWN TOO. ever think maybe jmm prices himself out?

what win is jmm's defining moment? gainer? medina? barrera? (the same barrera who manny doesn't get much credit for beating because he was past prime?)

jmm has great skills and he is a great fighter but he's not this boogeyman that everyone fears.
