You guys are missing the point. Saying you beat someone who in reality beat you by a close margin is total disrespect and very unsportsmanlike. Football, Basketball, Baseball etc. has overtime designed for a team to be a winner or a looser in a very close game. Wether a team wins by one point in .01 second, that team is still the winner. In Marquez case, he lost by a very close margin, but the point is, he Lost! What makes it worst is he comes out to the public disrespecting Pac saying he won twice when he never ever even dispalyed overwhelming victory nor a single knockdown of Pac and he was never the aggressor. Get this, without Manny, noone will know who JMM is. Barrera, Naseem, Morales didn't want to fight this guy before not because they feared him, it was because JMM had no fans to fill the seats because he was a boring counter puncher. Make it this way, if you got into a fight with someone and beat him narrowly, then he goes into your own house and in front of your family he says you didn't beat me I beat you, how would you feel. A third fight w/ Manny will produce the same thing. It will be another replay just like Pac vs JMM I and II so I say move on and bring on the exciting fighters like Hatton, Valero, Campbell, Juan Diaz, Guzman, Katsidis or Amir Khan. Juan, we already know about your boring counter punching style. Take it with you and continue to fight for peanuts because you are not world class. The only reason you are high in the pound for pound list is because your boss GBP owns the magazine. Trust me, I've seen and know of more exciting and way better fighter than you and yes in your weight class.Comment

This just in: No one gives a **** about Katsids, Amir Khan, Valero (minus Boof), and Hatton more then Marquez again. First off, Marquez is officially 0-1-1 with Pacquiao so technically Pacquiao hasn't settled the score with him.
Second off, Pacquiao still hasn't proven he's a better fighter then Marquez. He arguably lost both fights, especially the second, and Marquez has good wins over Barrera, Manuel Medina, Dereck Gainer, and Robbie Peden (the guy that beat Campbell twice!)
If Marquez isn't world class? Then what the hell does that make Pacquiao since he struggled with him so much? Boring counter puncher who can't put people in seats? Is that Pacquiao-Marquez 2 almost sold out (not at all because of Pacquiao) and did around 400,000-525,000 PPV buys? Those all weren't Pacquiao.
There is a reason why Marquez is ranked so high, and it has nothing to do with Golden Boy dumbass. He's always been that high, is because he's had 2 close fights with Pacquiao and has a win over Barrera, who was still on the pound for pound list when Marquez beat him. Barrera had beaten Morales a 3rd time (before Pacquiao beat him twice) and 2 wins over Rocky Juarez. Then he lost against Marquez and was taken off the pound for pound list.Comment

the mab-jmm fight is the one that has to be called robbery. mab owned that ****ing ass. pacquiao never struggled with marquez every time marquez would fight with him he ends up in the canvass. it only look like he is struggling is because why? marquez back pedaled when he got the taste of the canvas again. now tell me how will u be able to fight someone who doesn't want to?

the reason why i also brought up the names of hatton, valero, guzman, campbell, diaz is because those fights are more exciting to watch and has more action than watching a cry baby wait there like a little *****.
i repeat marquez is a nobody without pacquiao. marquez needs pacquiao, pacquiao doesn't need him. he is out there challenging better and bigger fighters than marquez. nuff said.Comment

. My god, Marquez won every round from round 6 on. How the **** did you score it for Barrera? Marquez was clearly landing the better combinations and throwing a lot more of them too. Barrera would only land jabs and occasion stuff here and there, but he was clearly getting dominated. Why else did Barrera hit Marquez when he was on the floor? He was frustrated as **** that's why. Then Marquez repeated a round 7 performance (which was near perfect minus the knockdown at the end. That round would have been 9-9 anyway if Barrera did get the knockdown) in round 10.
Then Marquez didn't give Pacquiao trouble. Why and the hell was Pacquiao cut then and brusied up? Why did Freddie Roach even go to say it could have gone the other way?
Also you are a dumbass for thinking that Guzman and Hatton are more exciting then Marquez. Because you know that Hatton-Urango was ****ing FOTY material right there. I find Guzman pretty exciting myself, but not as much as Marquez. Khan is not more exciting then Marquez.
Katsidis and Valero are giant mismatches. Guzman will beat Campbell and then because Pacquiao will probably get knocked out by De La Hoya, he'll skip his march date. Then meanwhile, Guzman and Marquez will have to fight to earn a position at Pacquiao.
The only reason he is fighting these "Bigger and better challenges" is because he's making 10 million dollars to do so against De La Hoya.Comment

He hasn't beat Pac once technically, and that's what counts.
Its a tough situation, becasuse both were very close, controversial fights that very well may have been decided incorrectly.
The problem is, why would Pac take steps backward when he could be making great, moneymaking fights?Comment
