Juan Manuel Marquez: "I Already Beat Pacquiao Twice"
Collapse

The official outcome is 1-0-1 not 2-0. Both fights were close with controversial outcomes therefore there's every reason for a rubber match to take place. Those two fights are as worthy of a trilogy as any.when there are fights against dlh, hatton, and sotto possible you cant blame him for not fighting JMM again.. if it were 1-1 i would really want to see the third but theres no story line when its 2-0. plus dlh and hatton will make more money. (btw i dont want to see him fight dlh but we already know its happening and ofcourse i am going to end up buying it...)Comment

This "gentleman" just joined us at BoxingScene, and has sent in all of 3 letters....YES....THREE....so he obviously knows how this works and of course, what he's talking about, even if others don't.Just a few minutes ago I sent in a letter giving my opinion about the Pacquiao and Marquez fights. I clearly showed that it was my opinion.
BELOW- is the letter (if I can call it that) which I just found in my private mailbox. It seems he didn't want to publicize his vulgarity and ignorance.
I have no idea what "view conversation " is supposed to mean- perhaps other curses in the Filipino language....although I doubt it.
Still, as I always say,....it's nice to be appreciated................

you know in filipno word " KUPAL KA" meaning you're an *******. It was very clear that PAC beats your non-sense JMM in those fights! you're an *******!!!

I understand that ridicule will not even be noticed by an ignorant crapper such as he, but it satisfies my inner self somewhat..........Comment

You do realize that it takes a considerable amount of effort to decipher your nearly incomprehensible slaughtering of the English language, right? Deep breaths. This "gentleman" just joined us at BoxingScene, and has sent in all of 3 letters....YES....THREE....so he obviously knows how this works and of course, what he's talking about, even if others don't.

I think that was after Hamid fired him. I don't believe that a fighter with the enormous ego of Hamid could ever be accused of ducking anyone-unless there was a money/business angle somewhere.
I have tapes of Hamid talking about himself in such a way that it's impossible to keep from laughing, his EGO is by far the biggest of any fighter I've ever seen. At first I figured it was just PR ctrap, but the more I saw him, the more I realized he actually believed it. I think he took those magic carpet entries etc. very seriously, and perhaps saw himself as a re-incarnation of King Kong without the hairy overcoat.
Just my opinion.Comment

Sorry to disagree with you but Hagler NEVER accepted it. he spoke loudly and often about what he considered the ROBBERY, and said that he was quitting in protest. He DID quit the ring in protest and never came back. I don't think there is any dispute about this.
He went straight to Italy and tried to make a movie career for himself, I think he's stillthere. Whenever he was interviewed, he always said he was robbed. One look at his face when he was speaking would be enough to tell you that he certainly meant it.Comment
