    2 things....

    1) I think bad management is really common. Boxing is a funny sport where the VAST majority of even very good boxers are nowhere close to being the best in the world. You can be a successful boxing promoter/ manager without ever once managing a truly elite boxer. When one comes along its a real rarity and those managing him are often ill equipped to deal with it.

    2) It is **** to be European and a top class boxer, in comparison to the Yanks. IMO the US networks (who have all the really big money) have no interest in stars that they cannot market in the US right from the beginning, because the public won't watch them, and then later they don't want the titles leaving the US because they want boxers they can market to hold them. It means that Euros get frozen out unless the issue is really forced. I think Kessler is going to have a hard time making US fights because what boxer (Jermain Taylor, Pavlik) with big career plans is going to want to face him, and why would the TV people ask them too?

If he intends on moving up to LHW ever then he should have at least 10 years ahead of him, judging by current standards!

Valid point. Guys who fight like Kessler can generally fight well into their 30s.

You think? I think Kessler at his best relies a great deal on his sharpness and I've thought before that I don't think he will age well. However, what he loses in dynamism he may make up for in discipline/ patience, for which his style is well suited.

**** off. You are trolling for attention. What you posted doesn't even make sense. I imagine he based it on observing Kessler's style, which I suppose you would find hard since I'm not convinced you've ever even seen him fight.

Haha, you have the exact opposite opinion to me. I'm not sure, perhaps you are right. I think it is more the speed and reflexes rather than sharpness of punch that is the first to decay though. I think Mikkel is entering his peak now and should be there until he is 35 and I would expect him to remain pretty effective until he is 38 or so. And as you say other aspects of his game will improve I'm sure.
