Darchinyan vs. Mijares official for November

by the way, mijares should get out of his televisa contract...........apart of the fact that their commentators are boring as hell and spend all ****ing transmition giving anectdotes of things nobody gives a **** about instead of watching the fight, they got him fighting bums after the big fights, hes only losing his time, its not like he needs tune-ups...

Mijares will get hit at least once every round, two questions persist though:

1) Will those punches be telling blows that can affect the tide of the fight, and

2) Will Darchinyan land more punches in the rounds that he catches him than Mijares.

My honest guess is nope. But I've been wrong.

Now having said that, which I agree with, if you watch all of Vic's fights (besides the Donaire fight because he was just totally unprepared for that fight from round 1) you will quickly realize that Vic's "I want a one punch knockout" is ALL TALK. What he really does is wear an opponent down, similar to Marg. These guys don't have so called "one-punch" power, but the consitent pressure and decent power wears the opponent down. Now having stated my oppinion I realize what you guys are saying, but I don't see a shut out in fact I see a close fight and I see a KO win for EITHER fighter. Either one can get KO'd by the other because I believe the consitent power bombs from Darchi WILL land and WILL affect Mijares.

I just see a stylistic disadvantage for Darchinyan. He doesn't have one punch power and to wear down a guy like Mijares he has to land a lot of punches to do so. Mijares isn't a former 108-pounder like Burgos or Glenn Donaire, wearing Mijares down is a different story.

I just don't think this is a good style matchup for Darchinyan, even Montiel would have been better.

The article says the fight is signed and the only thing left to be ironed out is between a november 1st or 8th date and whether it will be held in Los Angeles or Las Vegas.

It seems like an interesting but dangerous fight for Mijares, that do you guys think?
