I'd rank it as a better achievement. Oscar may be fairly old now, but he isn't shot and he has been consistently a P4P fighter for many years. Ruiz was never a P4P fighter and was a weak heavyweight champion. Not that I'm saying that Roy's win wasn't excellent.
pacman weighed in at welterweight for juniorlightweight fights.......on fight night, roy was outweighed by 30 lbs.....while dlh will outweigh pac by 15lb at most...
amateurs dont count but we can start with the first division manny won a title. he won his first title as a flyweight. so that means he will be jumping 8 divisions to fight oscar. not only that but he will be fighting a guy who actually knows how to box properly and has power. on top of that manny is the first fighter in many many years to step up to someone so much bigger than him that isnt a runner.
Toney fought Jirov at 30 lbs above the weight he won his first title and jirov wasnt a runner
