Something i was thinking about earlier today. If every fight was a fight like a Calderon/Mayweather/Guzman fights were its pure boxing science in play would it be just canceled and kept from being on tv? In other words Mayweather-Baldomir and never fight of the year fights on tv.

If a fighter uses his natural advantages to overcome another fighter's advantages, it isn't boring. Maybe you just have ADD or something and can't stick with something that isn't flashy.

If everyone fought the way you like, then the bigger man would always win and no one would care to watch because the drama would be ****** out of the fights.

I am not saying anything bad about the fighters. Those styles just arent fit for tv. We hardcore fans play a small role in viewing. The casual fans are what brings in all the money. Why dosent Calderon or Spinks get dates on HBO?

Spinks is like watching paint dry on a wall, he isn't even that good of a fighter.

Why do Floyd Mayweather Jr, Paulie Malignaggi and Casamayor frequently get TV dates? Wilfredo Benitez...
