I keep reading your point that it's embarrassing to get outboxed by Hopkins, ''who isn't a great technical boxer.'' What is he then, a brawler? Hopkins used his legs, shoulder roll, tucked head, and counters throughout his career. Of course he's a technical boxer, he's considered a boxer-puncher, which is Tito's kryptonite. Tito and Hopkins both weighed under the middleweight limit, and Hopkins did weigh less, but Tito wasn't pime (not that I think it'd matter). But still, Tito didn't move up from 147 to prove a point, he was having trouble making weight.

Anyone who bases Tito's career on his performances against RJJ and Winky are ****** and dont know jack about his career.

BHop was just too big. BHop started his career at 160, which is 3 weight classes higher than Tito did. Oh and has anyone considered that Tito lasted 3 more rounds than DLH did?

He captured Titles at 3 different weight classes...BHop captured titles at 2 weight classes.

Tito was the most dominant WW of our times.

After Tito, fighters were never the same.

            Vargas was permanently damaged.
            Oba Carr
Luis Ramon Campas was CRUSHED by Tito and permanently damaged
            Hector Camacho
            David Reid was permanently damaged
Joppy was also CRUSHED by Tito....
DLH was a close fight, it was a draw IMO (at that time, DLH and Tito were the BEST fighters in the world P4P)

I'd say for Tito's sake, it's best not to compare those 2 performances. Still I agree Tito was pretty great.

Tito's recent performances are damaging his career and how people view him. also the Hopkins fight will always be mentioned in how people view him as he was comprehensively flogged i would say he is a modern great maybe not an all time great
