Manny may not be as good as Whitaker when it comes to defence but this Oscar we will be watching on Dec. 6 is no where as good offensively and defensively as he was in the Whitaker fight.

So I belive that balances that out.

When it comes to Oscars size advantage people have to realise that size can go either for or against you.

If a smaller opponent gets on the inside against you and stays there you can get ****ed up real bad.

Also remember that smaller opponents on the inside will have an easier time slipping your punches considering that their heads are closer to your belt line, so if they choose to duck they can end up ducking just above the knee level and slip any punches you throw at them.
One thing to remember is this: even when Oscar is hitting glove, he is going to be hurting the former 105lber

I just see no way Pacquiao doesn't get completely run over in this one and I'll think a LOT less of Oscar if he isn't able to do it

As much as I'd like to see Pac win, he's no Whitaker. He has never had the defense of even a faded Pea, and he's giving up way to much size. I'll be rooting for him, but Im not getting my hopes up.

counter punching, fighting backwards or slipping punches should'nt even being talked about for this fight.what should be talked about is this insult to boxing fight that has no merit and is a complete fraud that i will not pay to see.he is to small and can not hurt Oscar and thats the reason the coward de la ho wants to fight him.

The more I think about this, the more I think there is no way in hell Pacquiao should make it out of 2 rounds.

I'll be willing to bet you that Manny lasts a lot longer than two rounds.

Ole Bob should be careful with his quotes, as someone might use a similar one to describe a possible Pavlik vs. Calzaghe fight!

Actually, thats right. Oscar just has to get Manny on the ropes and Pac will take some heavy damage.

Thing is Manny is definitely going to be circling to DLH's left, from the jab .That and Manny is such a small target a simple duck or squat just might be enough. Manny should'nt fight straight up, he should make himself as small as possible.

So I see the fight going like this

I fail to see the connection between Pacquiao and Whitaker beyond being southpaws.
