As for his stamina, sure I'm yet to see him exhausted in a recent fight, but I'm also yet to see him fighting hard and expending a lot of energy, again, something he is going to need.
it is about roy, because roy is the superiorly gifted fighter.... but hes past his prime... the thing is, if roy comes in looking like his old self... which... is in fact hard to visualize, then roy will win this fight...

By everyone agreeing roy beats joe every single day in his prime... that means roy has the SKILLS to beat joe... the question is, can roys body do it?

and that is why this fight IS about roy... because if he SHOWS UP.. roy will win... if hes old... then he loses... i think this fight completely depends on how Roy fights... period.

Conditioning. That's it. If he could, somehow, be conditioned enough to be able to throw for 12 rounds at Zaggs' pace, he could take a decision. That's the only guaranteed way for him to win.

There's another chance, but it's slim to none: If he jumps on Zaggs from the starting bell, while he's still cold, he might possibly be able to hurt Zaggs enough to get a TKO (probably won't get him actually down for a 10 count...possible, but highly unlikely...Zaggs' recovery time from a KD is nearly non-existant), but again, very slim chance, and it would have to be early, before Calzaghe gets into his rythm. The big drawback to this is that if he jumps on Joe, he's going to burn up all that energy he'll need for later rounds, and will, without doubt, end up KO'd himself.

                  Lies........

No Brit can root against Calzaghe, it's impossible.
