Ray Leonard could compete and be great in any era, I think he would beat all guys listed, atleast be favored to beat them. Forrest could be tough but I think Ray would get the job done, and I think he would beat Mayweather based on being the bigger man, both would be tough fights though.

Does he beat em all? Yes. Mayweather would stand the best chance being that Leonard never faced a defensive fighter like Floyd. Still I belive Leonard is too much for Floyd... Leonard is jus too big. P4P I'd pick Floyd

Even though this thread was about Leonard he was not the only back in the day fighter I was talking about when I made that post. So I do know what the **** I'm talking about.

              Leonard would beat PBF

PBF has never shaired a ring with a fighter with as much hand speed, power, heart, durabilty, stamina, skill, combined , never

Leonard was not only an excellent fighter with awsome skill he was also a tough SOB

BTW no disrespect to Tito because im a big fan of his and he was a beast at WW but Leonard would KO Tito with relative ease IMO to quick and accurate and powerfull too skilled aswell

Forrest has the best chance IMO

How good would prime 147 pound Ray Leonard of 1979-1982 be in this particular era. You can go back as far as 2000 if you want. So here are some fighters he would have had to face

Ike Quartey - In his prime at 147

Oscar - In his prime at 147

                    Shane Mosley - 147 pounds

                    Vernon Forrest - 147 pounds

                    Tito Trinidad - 147 pounds

Floyd Mayweather jr - 147 pounds

                    Antonio Margarito - 147 pounds

I think SRL wouldve beaten Ike Quartey, he mightve struggled with DLH, but won a close decision. Shane Mosley and Vernon Forrest wouldve been good scraps. A PRIME Tito Trinidad, wouldve been another brawl in montreal. Floyd against SRL wouldve been a pick em fight, and Marg wouldve gotten exposed

I think Forrest and PBF would be his toughest fight both of which he could win.
the jab is the most important punch in boxing and both of them have great ones.its especially necessary with movers like leonard.
