It's silly when people say that he is ducking Guzman and Marquez, because even if he lost those fights, it would be a close decision, and Pac would probably look less beat up than his opponent at the final bell. The most likely outcome against DLH is a KO defeat.

But I do think that DLH should be criticised. He has the power to get a fight with anyone, and he chooses someone much smaller than himself.

I honestly think that DLH vs Roy Jones would be a fairer fight than this. And that fight would sell a lot. And Roy is at a similar stage of his career too. I know that Roy is busy with Zag, but DLH wouldn't be willing to fight him anyway. He wants a big money, for the easiest win possible.

I also think that part of it is disappointment from people that expected better from fishnets boy. I used to be a big fan of DLH as a fighter, and after all the BS from people like Don King and Frank Warren, I thought that he might improve boxing as a promoter. But now I dislike him and hope that Pacquiao KOs him.

I have always liked Freddie Roach too. He refused to train Wayne McCollough because of fears over his health, and seems to have done the same about Hopkins fighting Pavlik.

But yet he's willing to do this fight? Maybe the $$$ had nothing to do with Roach's decision, but I'm not so sure. You risk your health everytime you step into the ring, and the risk is much greater when you are against a bigger guy. Especially when you are an attacking fighter like Manny, who will probably keep coming forward, taking shots, and refuse to quit.

I just see it that the biggest fight of the year will be a mismatch, and that isn't good for our sport. I also don't think it's good that the P4P#1 guy might get KO'd and not be the same quality of fighter again.

I will probably watch the fight, and I hope Manny pulls off the upset. It's possible of course. But I much would've preferred for them both to fight people from their own weight.
it's been done before. who's to say manny can't do it?

in the old days there was no 140 division. people jumped straight from 135 to 147.

henry armstrong went from 126 to 135 to 147 to 160 in the days of no super/junior weight divisions. not to say manny is henry but manny can try.

my head says oscar by ko but i haven't picked against manny since 2003 i'm not gonna do it this time either.

the fight makes sense money wise so we can't do anything about but just enjoy the fight. it's done.

we can whine about who they should fight but the fact is they're fighting each other.

    manny ud12 over oscar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Manny has a chance. But I just think the size difference is too big.

And I am still gonna whine about how the fight is wrong. And if Manny wins I will just go back and edit all my posts
