The fight was announced on ESPN. Good job boxingscene.

Oh nooooooooooooo... exactly what I feared... it was so clear... I really didn't care about DLH you know how I feel for him (always hated him, always will) and who he fights in his last fight... even if he fought Calderon or whatever I couldn't care less... as long as he retires... but now... c'mon...

Like I said it was so clear... HBO gave him so many slots and there has to be reason... DLH doesn't know how to build young talent so there had to be another reason... I guess the deal is this... every washed up after their prime fighter that you got get's PPV exposure... even if we have to put on 20 PPV's a year but for that you have to fight on at least one more time per year... DLH is the only one who draws them big money... and what shall he do else... how should he get interested in a PPV match without him... should he become the special enforcer (WWE style) or what... it was so clear... god damn... greed destroys the love

I would like to see Oscar just call it a career, but a fight against Margarito in Mexico would be about the only one I would like to see. Especially at Estadio Azteca Stadim in Mexico City. There would be a **** ton of people and the atmosphere would be great.

I honestly see one more fight on Cinco de Mayo with Oscar taking on Mayweather (rematch with Floyd sr. in corner), Chavez Jr., or even Hatton in Mexico City.
I dont want to see him do ****.

              He makes me ****ing sick.

Oscar has spent the last few years in semi-retirement.

Now that he's older and has less left in the tank, he wants to fight again? It's ******, if he wanted more fights or a better legacy, he should've fought more often in the past few years.

yeah this is a pretty nasty fight.

just waiting for Domain to come in and run **** spouting his mouth how

"we're killing boxing, buy the fight" lol

it's not just one person who thinks this fight/Oscar De La Hoya are a mockery.

heck read the article by Jake D regarding this fight.

He could regain a lotta lost respect if he fought a real fight after this, but I still don't think he'd face anyone who could really challenge him. Just go home DLH.
