mr. the dominican , it's HYPOTHETICAL. can't you guys understand that?

that's why nsb is such **** now. people can't go by the subject of the thread.

if you ask a question people try to answer what you never asked......

i didn't ask if he could've stayed a cruiserweight. i asked if he fought his career at cruiserweight. cruiser limit now is the same as amateur heavyweight limit when he was fighting in the ams. it's not that preposterous.

if you don't think he could've been a great cruiser.

name the opponents he would've fought that could've beaten him.

i'll start. if chris byrd fought at cruiser he would have.

see how easy that is , mother****ers?

Since there were no Holyfield's or Qawi's in the mix, he'd probably do really well.
It would've been cool to see him battle the Jirov's, Toney's and the masters of the division in the 90's early 00's.

I think his power would've just been scary, but there's a big possibility he could still be outboxed by the Johnny Nelson's and slicksters of the world.

It's not actually a terrible hypothetical, just how seriously would you take it if a 5'9 199 pound guy says he was weight drained.

Cruiser seems to be the weigh station division even though it's improved a lot.

I remember having a poll about the greatest cruiser fights and most admitted they had never seen most of them not even the Holyfield-Qawi classic or even Toney-Jirov.

          It was kinda surprising.

Now I am thinking about a Guerillmo Jones David Tua battle.... with Tua having the same problems he did with Lewis, but maybe just maybe catching the Panamian late.

Tua wouldn't have been able to make 190 for long.

it's not a terrible HYPOTHETICAL question. the guy is 5'9-5'10. the mofo can't make 200 lbs.?

he would've been in better shape than at heavy. he would've watched his weight more if he had to make weight. might have been good for him.

              jirov-tua would've been great.

              gomez-tua would've been great.

              imagine toney-tua? wow!

nelson would've outboxed him but nelson doesn't have big height advantages that others have had against him. i think tua catches him with something. how often has johnny felt power like a tua left hook?

Well when did the weight limit change to 200? He woulda had more of a chance though.
He could train at 210-220 and drop to 200 for the weigh in and rehydrate to 210-215 so it's not out of the realm of possibility. He could walk around at 225-230 like Haye and some others did.

Johnny lasted the distance with a young Corrie Sanders though.
Got his ass beat but lasted, so he may have fared pretty well.
As I said it's not a bad hypothetical.
                    Well done, young Tua.

tua started at 204 in his first couple of fights.

he later put on 10-15 lbs. or so to compete at heavy.

people forget that tua fought a lot of fights at 215 or so.

they only remember the 260 lb. tua that fought against lewis.

you guys do realize that tua was about 230 at 35 yrs. old right?

he can't be 220 in his 20's and cut weight to 200?
