The guy has more than 50 fights and is reputed to have never been cut for chrissakes; you can't use his face as a way to tell who won the fight, especially when looking at Taylor's face would tell you nothing more than Bernard cut him with a nasty headbutt.

And there's no arguing against "Taylor missed Hop with most of his punches;" that's a silly statement. Most fighters miss with most of their punches. But Taylor hit him clean multiple times in that fight. And when I say "clean" I mean both "flush" and "not holding him and punching him while his back was turned" or "not while holding his head down and punching him in the back of the head" which is more than you can say for Hopkins.

As for Pavlik/Taylor, I said the decision could have gone either way, and there are many who agree with me.
Look, I'm not talking about the other fights hops's faced has looked good after a fight. I'm talking about how his face looked against Taylor ok?. I didn't even see Taylor really hit the man at all. You didn't either. And please, stop saying Taylor beat Pav in the rematch. It is embarrassing to read. Being from Little Rock, I see why you believe he won.

I would retaliate Eddie Gargle, but you sounded so ******ed in what you said, speaking to a ****** would make me a ******.

I think most of us saw Taylor's flaws before they lost him any fights, but HBO didn't have many alternatives at the time. That and DiBella's **** is in their mouth.

          probably best for pavlik

i dont like his matchup vs calzaghe, calzaghe is good at dodging straight punches like pavlik's and smothering guys and making them fight backwards, i think he'd do that to pavlik...and pavlik is at his best when he's moving forward pushing in the cross

i'd like to see the fight but it'd be pav's first loss most likely.

If you didn't see Taylor hit the man, you're blind. Taylor's got fast hands but not that fast. Next you're going to tell me you saw Hopkins throw more than 12 punches in the first round.

And I understand why you think I'm biased based on where I live, and I may be a little, but that still doesn't explain the fact that 37% of the 116 voters in the poll I linked to, taken on this forum, didn't think that Pavlik won the second fight, and not all of them are from Little Rock. That said, I clearly stated that I can see why the judges scored it for Pavlik, as Taylor was not active enough. Just like Hopkins wasn't active enough against Taylor.
