Kelly is a huge puncher, but he's still wet behind the ears compared to B Hop. I can't get Hopkins vs Tarver out of my head when thinking of this upcoming fight. Tarver was the bigger guy with one punch power, although inconsistent with it, he could crack. He also fought from the southpaw stance. And Bernard handled him easily. Bernard should have less of a problem with the orthodox Pavlik.
I think Bernard will make it a boring fight, frustrate Kelly and simply school the kid over twelve tough mauling rounds. Kelly won't know what happened to him, but he'll come out exhausted, beat up, and no longer undefeated.
He will most likely out slick and outsmart him for a few rounds until he goes into an assisted sleep.
I'm not betting on that fight, I have something on the Jones / Calzaghe fight, and I need to keep everything I have just on the off-chance I have to pay out. Thanks for the offer, though
Oh don't tell me after talkin that alll that **** on X, you gonna sit there and bet on Jones?!! Don't get me wrong! I'll probably bet on Jones too, but points only man!! I can't lose any more money betting on these geezers.

No, I'm putting mine on Calzaghe. Why would you think I'd bet on Jones after saying over and over I think his chances are miniscule?
Also, when I bet cash, it's with a bookie, unless it's just a small friendly wager with someone I know. It's a bad idea to bet more than a few bucks with people you see often....breeds hate and discontent.

I bet at the casino, being that I only bet on fights I attend. I believe AC doesn't let you bet on sporting events, as I tried to bet on Guzman when I went up there for his fight against Soto. I was linked to a couple reputable sites and a day or so before the fight I'll see which one is giving the better odds. If you wanna make a small point bet on the calzags fight, or the bhop fight, you just let me know.
Hopkins will tire late, its hard to argue that. He is bound to get hit flush.
He's gonna be a couple months from 44, of course he'll tire, but so will Pavlik. He will either be somewhat gunshy, or will go out as usual and get slowed down early. My point was that people seem to think he will be going early, and that's ludicrous. Hopkins is as durable as it gets, and if I was able to bet money that he would finish this fight on his feet I'd bet the bank.

I agree, I just think Pavlik's conditioning will be too much for him, and he won't be able to keep him off him after the 7th, maybe 8th, and he'll start getting caught. Kelly Pavlik ain't fast, and he ain't fancy, but he'll swing the entire fight and every punch is going to take it's toll. And he's got just a little bit of size on Hopkins, too, so he won't get manhandled like many have in the past. I really think Hopkins is just biting off more than he can chew in taking on Pavlik.
Hopkins will not get knocked out in this one. The man hasn't been hurt in 14 years, he's entirely too smart to get caught flush. He keeps his chin tucked in the pocket of his neck and chest the entire fight and you can't knock out somebody who you can't hit on the button.
If Kelly wins it will be a decision because he "threw more punches". I have a feeling it will be similar to Calzaghe/Hopkins, with Kelly throwing ineffective punches in bunches, and Bernard countering with all of the clean, effective blows and not getting credit for any of it.
