that was horrible i just wanted MAB to rush him and let his hands go problem is Pac hits to hard and is far to quick for Barrera

he was always going to get the better of the exchanges because of the disparity in speed

look up some hamed fights. it's happened a few times with naseem 'cause he keeps his hands low and because of his antics.
Marquez was hanging on the ropes with his left glove on the canvas, thats considered a knockdown and the opponent is SUPPOSED to stop fighting, Pacquiao did NOT and could of been called a DQ or have a point deducted...

manny is just a bad matchup for marco. just how it is......

he did better in the rematch when he was prepared for manny's handspeed better.

I dunno why this thread was even made, I had both the fights scored the same. 122-109, Pac wins both.. BY BRUTAL KO!

we have to take into consideration that he had been fighting since the age of what ? 16 /17

i agree bad style match up though Pac would always have beaten him i think a prime MAB knocks JMM out though

hey remember the prefight instructions with manny years ago? i think it was the erik fight , i don't remember......anyways the ref was instructing manny in the locker room and he goes , "any questions?" , to manny and manny asked , "can i hit him while he's down?"

i remember the tv commentators was like , "do you think they let manny hit his opponents while they're down in the philippines?" and they started laughing.

everytime i see him pop juanma while juanma was laying down on the ropes i think of that. ha ha ha

that's why i think manny is done too. i already feel his slipping as far as handspeed and stamina goes. i could be wrong...... manny was fighting at like 16 too. and he's 30 this year.

yeah bad matchup. like junior was. marco can compensate in the rematch but you can't do much when the guys just has a style perfect for you.

here's my view on the top 5 122-130 guys this era prime vs. prime against each other.

marco - always a pick 'em fight with erik. beats hamed and juanma. losses to manny.

erik - always a pick 'em fight with marco. beats hamed , manny and juan ma.

manny - always beats marco. pick 'em with juan ma and naseem. losses to erik.

naseem - losses to erik , marco and juan ma but probably ko's manny.

juanma - pick 'em against manny. schools naseem. losses to marco and erik.

Junior Jones deserves respect for how he fought against Barrera in the second fight he really dug deep and showed how much he wanted it because up unitll the mid rounds Barrera looked in control

id favour Barrera over Morales ,beats JMM ,Beats,Hamed ,loses to Pac
