They both fought great Tony came out on top. Cotto would have to think twice before getting in the ring with Tony again, cause the beating Cotto took its a beating to rest for a year and he know itComment

kay i watched the fight and he was whooping margarito's ass at the beginning but then margarito figured him out towards the mid rounds and cotto didnt have an answer cos of that dumb ass gameplan.Comment

I dont see Tony coming in the same way in his next fight either.
A week after Tony still had Black eyes and puffy face.Comment

No. He'd get whomped again. He didn't do anything wrong in that fight. His best just wasn't good enough. This is one of those rematches where the defeated fighter doesn't have any mistakes he can correct. It'd be the same fight, wit a KO for Marg possibly earlier.Comment

i was saying that cotto could win a rematch a while ago, like some1 has already pointed out if cotto changes his game plan he can come out with a win i dont noe about a more spectacular win than margs but a win never the lessComment

I think it was conditioning. He tried to fight Margarito toe to toe in the beginning of the first round. I think he started feeling Margarito's punches & decided to box, which was more than likely one of his three plans. He moved to much & tried to throw mainly all power punches. I think Cotto's team underestimated Margarito's punching power & chin.It wasn't even about conditioning, it was fighting the wrong fight. Cotto isn't a boxer, he's a fighter who systematically breaks you down. In the N'Dou and Mosley fights Cotto wasn't able to break them down and faded down the stretch. You can't run from Margarito, you have to fight him and back him up.Comment
