            "Regional belts", you know like the USBA (United States belt) and the NABF (North American belt) earn you title opportunities (like IBF,WBA). In other countries, like Mexico for example, the USBA title doesn't hold any weight, but a Mexican regional belt does.

                i mean pretty much every decent fighter from the philippines is getting a title shot due to being very lil competiton there
                not every mexican gets it they have to eliminate each other fighting for nabf and fecarbox belts really good mexicans still havent got a title shot

                    I know Mexicans are better than Filipinos, I get it.

                    Boom Boom Bautista didn't fight any worse competition than guys like Daniel Ponce de Leon and Juan Manuel Lopez fought en route to title shots, he just didn't have it for the next level.
