Against Bika I noticed that he was holding something back, But still has fast hand, And his skills are still there. I can't wait till November.
if he was hitting lacy with full force thats pretty sad cause he couldn't even hurt him. face it he only had good knockout percentage cause he was fighting bums and getting premature stoppages. i've seen some of his old "knockouts" they are all of the manfredo variety. last time he actually hurt someone was mario veit who has a glass jaw.

Joe's longevity will get him in no doubt but i respect El Feroz more!
HE is the guy who stepped up and challenged the best fighters in the world, his record has quality operaters like Winky, Quartey and to a lesser extent Yori Boy Campas who was 72 -2 at the time and Raul Marquez in the win coloum, and this all within 19 fights!!! Then he has the great battles with Tito Oscar and Sugar.
Its widely thought that Tito ruined him and look what he was still capable of after that! He could have sat on some bogus title like joe did for years but he sought out the best opposition in the game!

But Joe staying undefeated all this time and having a few good names on his record will hav to get the nod as the greater

No. And dont use his hand issues as excuses, ALL fighters go through injuries and still fight the same way, its no excuse to throw ***** patter punches. And can you name ONE ELITE FIGHTER that Lacy, Bika, Eubank, Manfredo, Kessler, ever beat?? Recent to their fights with Calzaghe? No.
I rememeber when people were saying that Margarito never beat anybody before the Cotto fight. I also remember when people were saying that Pacamn never beat anybody before he fought Barrera. I could go on and on.
I Do remember when Calzaghe beat Eubank back in 97'. I didn't watch it, But read about it that month actually.

                still a very good win.

every young up and coming fighter beats an aging past prime one.

I never said he was a KO artist. I just said that his earlier in his career he was considered heavy handed, But if you read Ring mag or, K.O. you would never no. If you started following only a couple of years ago you probably wouldn't no either. Also it was pretty obvious that Joe had hurt Lacy several times in the fight . Lacy may not admit it. I don't think Lacy was hurt bad or anything , But he was buckled on a few occasian. He hurt Kessler before the ref broke it up. Was do you hate this guy that much? And do you think he is that bad?

more like 35, And it's not like Calzaghe struggled against him, he did what he was supposed to do. It was also a unexpierenced Calzaghe also.
