there is a reason i have a bunch of fake points
anyway i just started betting real money on fights so i will aprecciate some tips
i just put 250 bucks on mijares to win around 35

me being a friend to all will give u my boxing picks cuz im almost never wrong
so u can use to your advantage

    Calderon 75% Cazares 25%
the reason is cazares is pretty much gonna have to kill calderon in order to win at pr, is this was at a neutral venue it would be 60-40 war cazares

    Mijares 100% unknown thai 0%

    Valuev 60% ruiz 40%

    Diaz 70% katsidiz 30%
i dont think kat can hurt diaz

    Barrios 85% Juarez 15%

    Guzman 70% Campbell 30%

    Marquez 55% casamayor 45%
i think the size difference will be a big factor

    Margarito 60% Clottey 40%

    Dawson60% tarver 40%
    boy i hope dawson loses

    Mora 50% forrest 50%

    Calzaghe 75% roy 25%

    pavlik 65% hopkins 35%

    Mosley 80% mayorga 20%
    WAR mayorga

    DLH 95% pac 5%
im only giving pac 5% cuz there is always a chance they get cut before the 4th round and its a tecnical draw

if u disagree with some of my picks we can bet some fake points

I've been putting cash (sometimes big, usually small) on fights since the early 80's. I've lost less than $5000 cash in all that time, and made a little over $100,000 (all told throughout the years). I pick right nearly every time, too, but that isn't why I have such a good win/loss ratio. That's because I'm very selective about what I'll put serious money down on, and how much I'll put down. For example, I put $500 on Lewis to beat Klitchko when they fought. The odds I was getting were ****ty (1.2/1 I think? Don't remember that well) and I didn't want to risk much cash. Fortunately, I came out OK, but it was a near miss because I hadn't seen enough of Vitali before that point...got lazy, didn't want to do my research. On the other hand, I put an assload of cash on Winky to beat Tito by decision and got FABULOUS odds and made an embarrasingly large amount of money (a significant chunk of that 100K) simply because I knew both fighters, and played it over and over in my head probably 100 times or more, and it was just one of those cases where everybody else was wrong and I was "wright" (if you'll pardon the pun), and I knew how the fight was going to go. It was still a risk, but a small one, and acceptable in my opinion.

What I'm trying to get across is that to succeed in your betting on this sport, you need to look for the same type of fights...those where you've done your homework and the vast majority of everybody else that's betting disagrees with you. This will give you the odds you need to make the most out of your betting capital. Don't put cash down on every fight you're going to watch, that's a sure way to lose your ass in a short time, plus it's too much work trying to keep track of every fighter, every opponent, every training camp, etc. ad nauseum. That makes it work. YOu can usually put a big bet down on about 1 fight a year, using my method, and make enough money to buy tickets and beer for that year, maybe more. Sure, you can still lay the odd $20 or $50 down on a fight, just don't get crazy with it or you'll end up starting over again.

If, on the other hand you don't ever plan on betting really big, you're better off just betting a friendly buck with a friend who disagrees with your pick. That buck you win will nearly be worth a much larger amount of cash, just in the "I told you so" you can say to him for a week or two.

Also...if you can't lay completely off betting any time (and you should....go a month or two without so much as a cent on any fight at all just to make sure you can), then you need to stay completely the hell away from it. Seen too many people ruin their lives that way.

seriously, if you think you are that good, do what warp says, because i know guys who used to brag on forums all the time about how great they were at betting/betting on games etc, but until you sit them in front of a real vegas line with real money on the line, predictions dont mean **** until you beat the spread

ALSO, forgot to add.....IF YOU BET ONLINE, be goddamned sure you use one that WILL PAY YOU WITHOUT MAKING YOU JUMP THROUGH HOOPS OR WAIT 90 DAYS or some such bull****. I had cash down on a few fights through an internet betting site several years ago, did pretty good over a little less than a month, and when I tried to cash out, it took me (and I **** you not) over 2 mother****ing months to get my money. I wish I could remember the name of the place now, I'd give it to you, but it's been a long time and I'm old, and I've had to reinstall my entire computer probably twice since then, no records. But it was one of the bigger sites, if I saw the name again I'd recognize it. I don't do the online **** anymore, I just make a few phone calls and take care of it that way, if I even bet...I don't much anymore, too many other things I need to keep my cash for...2 kids in college, 2 at home, blah blah, makes me want to give a ******* to a ******* sometimes.
