300+ punches from Trinidad is a lot different than 300+ punches from Cotto. Cotto hit Margarito with everything he had, he just wasn't a big enough hitter to get the job done.
Trinidad on the other hand, well, hit about as hard as anyone throughout Welterweight and Junior Middleweight history. Margarito may make it to the final bell, but he'd lose the fight.Comment

cotto's a better boxer than vargas, and we know what happened there! boxer or not marg is a tough oppt, and tito would most likely not get him out before the final bell.Comment

i dont think Trinidad would Ko him either
Trinidad has a great chance to KO Marg if Marg stands off and lets him get the extension on his shots and get his weight onto his front foot where all his power is
but Marg aint gonna allow that he will be on Trinidads toes forcing him to Box and move sticking him on his heels where his power is slightly nullified
people should not underestimate the position you claim in the ring to win a fight ive watched loads of fights and more often than not that is always the deciding factor of who wins the fight
back Margarito up and you will beat him with ease let him come foward and your job is 10 times harder not to say he cant be beat when he is coming foward but you take my point that is where he is more effective as apose to when he is backed up
Pavlik made his job much more easier cause he backed Miranda up and gave him no leaverage had he not done this his job may have been twice as hard not to say he would not have still won but he would of found it much more difficultComment
