I think Glen Johnson and Tarver of 2004 would have always given Roy a lot of trouble. Tarver when motivated is a very good counterpuncher and he's also very long with a big left hand that Roy has to worry about.

2004 Glen Johnson if he was as relentless against 1997 Roy Jones, i think he gives that particular Roy problems also.

I agree Roy is not shot, but at this stage he needs a good matchup for him and i think Calzaghe style wize is actually a good matchup for Roy. Calzaghe throws a lot of punches, but his punches are wide a lot which leaves him open to counters straight down the pipe. That's how B-Hope knocked him down early in there last fight.

i disagree, in the middle of the ring, tarver was a deer in headlights to roys speed, when roy started getting tired and started going against the ropes and covering up (like youve NEVER seen him do before) thats when tarver would unload... otherwise tarver had no anwser for roys speed...

and glen johnson? a very solid fighter, but for a prime roy? honestly... just no way...

Hey sugar pie honeybunch, I have no clue what you're talking about.

I remember I started a thread called "Lead right hands"

          and i asked

"does anyone else throw multiple lead right hands in succesion better than Mayweather?"

then I asked "does anyone else throw lead right hands to the stomach?"

          I never said

"Mayweather signature punch is the lead right hand to the stomach"

As much as I would want to dispute that, I am not going to.

                      I still love you.
