Gerald had some serious problems and a dark bad side to him. I still find it hard to watch him nowadays and have sympathy.

Among boxers, there's other fighters more deserving of a fate such as that than Gerald (of what he know).

People like Jake LaMotta, Jo-El Scott, James Scott, Mike Tyson (if he was guilty of that crime) did worse things than fight dogs.

I'd like to think that Mike Tyson is not a rapist, so let's forget about him.

James Scott killed some man in a robbery, and fought fights in prison. He was actually a light-heavyweight contender in the late 70s/early 80s who fought fights in prison. Dwight Qawi was also an inmate (for robbery) at the same prison, and went back to Rahway to fight Scott. Qawi won a decision.

Jake LaMotta was a rapist, and talks about it in graphic detail in his autobiography. The movie made him look like a saint compared to his autobiography. He once flew into a drunken rage and beat the **** out of his girlfriend. He woke up and thought he killed her. He was worried about his boxing career. His brother told him to dump her body in the lake.

Jo-El Scott ****d a ******ed woman whom he was friends with, then beat her to death.

Yeah. A bit off-topic, but as I recall James Scott was a world class LHW fighting all (or most of) his fights in jail. Did he ever get a titleshot? And how did he fare?

Yeah, but I'd rather G-Man be the one doing time and Jo-El Scott being the one who's blind, in a wheelchair, and mostly deaf.

Holy ****, didn't know that about jake lamota, you're right I did think he was more of saint than you said. (however he said himself that he was worst than the movie made him out to be).

Braxton/Qawi fought Scott when he was a contender. I don't think Scott got a title shot.

James Butler is one of the worst people to box professionally. He murdered Max Kellerman's brother Sam.

He's a violent ****sexual who beat, ****d and permanently crippled a man in prison.

In what way was this detail necessary? You've mentioned it like it's something terrible morally. Then again, I do remember you being a raging ****phobe, so it fits within your character.
