No, I really dont think thats Zabs problem

I dont think anyone has dubbed him "inconsistent" but I do think he has a stroke of bad luck with a lot of his losses with the exception of Cotto and Floyd.
A lot of people say hes the most inconsistent fighter in boxing.

Even in those losses he hurt Cotto worse than Margarito did as far as almost KOing Cotto and he Knocked Mayweather down in impressive fasion.
In no way shape or form did Zab Judah even come within the realm of what Margarito did to Cotto... Zab landed 2 good uppercuts, and stumbled cotto for about 3 seconds... Margarito systematically broke Cotto down over 11 rounds, ending in a Bloodied beaten mess.

In no way shape or form was Zabs "knockdown" of Floyd Mayweather impressive... he caught him with a quick counter punch that set Floyd off balance... nothing more, nothing less.

I wish they didnt end it soo early in the Kostzya fight. he didnt let his legs come back to him and got up way to early.
I dont think he was going to be okay after 10 seconds, 6 seconds into it he was stumbling all over the place.

I thought he beat baldomir even with poor training and almost being Koed.

    But he didnt...

I thought he shouldve taken the scorecards against Clottey who didnt start to match Zabs activity until the laster rounds.
Zab is the one that ended that fight, if it would have continued Zab would have been beaten down by round 11 or 12.

he KOed Spinks in a rematch.
    Ok, we got ONE!

I think he is super skilled and deserves alot more credit than people give him. He looks good even when he loses.

Nobody cares about a good looking loser, he obviously doesnt look or fight good enough, to WIN.. which is the ONLY thing that matters... he deserves the credit hes given.

I like the guy and think he is a spectacular fighter, I watch him fight and only wish I could be that good when I go to the gym.
Its fairly obvious you like him, I have nothing personal against Zab, but he is what he is, and not what you say he is.

Judah is a 140lb fighter mascara ding as a WW.

He is a great fighter. Granted he has stamina problems, but that really only seems to be a problem when he is in there with these huge WW fighters that he doesn't belong in the ring with in the first place.

Zab is smaller than Floyd. Smaller than Cotto. Smaller than Mosley.

At 140 I would still pick Zab over Hatton and Pauly.

If he beat Floyd Mayweather, and then lost to Cotto, and then beat Clottey, I would say Zab is inconsistent.

When he fought Floyd, if he won rounds 1,3,5,7,9,11.. and lost 2,4,6,8,10,12... I would say hes inconsistent..

              He isn't...

He lost to Floyd, Cotto, and Clottey... and does well in rounds 1-6 and that's it. (although in his last fight I thought he fought well... but also thought if the fight continued he could very well be stopped).

That's not inconsistent, hes just not an elite fighter. I would give him the gatekeeper position of the division though... Zab doesn't suck, but hes not great. If you can beat him, your ready for the elite, if you can't beat him, your not ready for the elite.

THIS IS Zab Judah, that is the fighter he is... Someone whose talented, but not in every part of the game... Boxing is as much mental as it is physical, Zab has the physcial, but doesn't have the mental... thats it, it isn't going to magically appear 70% into his career... This is who he is.
              You sound so strong.

              How tall are you?

Zab should never have gone to 147 or at least should have returned to 140 sooner than he has. I think he would have had a significantly improved career had he done so.

I would still pick him in a fight against Hatton.

dude even at 140, of his like 30 KO's, 25 are in or before 4........

he is not great and never could fight 12 at near the same pace as the first 4....
