I could've sworn when he was asked about the knockdown, he said he didn't hurt him....did I get this confused with another fight, or another fighter? I'm going to have to wach the interview again, I guess.Comment

The only reason people can score this fight for Bhop is because they are either blind or believe that a KD = Win???Comment

Reasons why Kessler was the biggest win.
- Kessler was in his prime at 28 years old and held two belts in the division.
- This was the biggest historical fight in the divisions short history putting two undefeated fighters with a combined 82 (61) record against each other at their natural weights.
- The fight had the biggest indoor record in Europe (over 50,000) in attendance and unified 3 of the 4 belts in the division.
- The odds were near enough even while Calzaghe was the clear favorite against Hopkins.
- The fight was a very good and exciting fight throughout, regardless if the Hopkins fight was closer it doesn't make it a bigger fight.
- Kessler was considered top 10 by some people, just outside by others.
Compared to...
- Two legends fighting at a weight which isn't the ones they are notorious for fighting in.
- Not fighting for a World title.
- Poor audience, the majority expecting Calzaghe to win easily.
- Two old fighters fighting a very boring fight.
- Both P4p fighters but only because of resume (Hopkins' case), the fans aren't naive enough to say Hopkins would beat Kessler.
It's clear Kessler was the bigger fight, by a mile. Lets see how Kessler does now in his career and we will see how big that win really was.Comment

- The odds were near enough even while Calzaghe was the clear favorite against Hopkins.

- Kessler was considered top 10 by some people, just outside by others. Hopkins was no 5 at the P4P List when he fought Calzaghe

Are you hoping Kessler is become a great fighter to jusifty why he is Calzaghe best win?? I have already stated that Calzaghe do that and you helped my causeComment

I think that Hopkins gave Calzaghe a harder fight, but sometimes you just have to agree to disagree rather than starting another thread on the same subject and debating with the same people over and over.
If Enzo Calzaghe watched Sturm-de la Hoya or Holyfield-Lewis I, you can understand why he was telling his fighter to go for the KO, despite believing that he was winning. When you fight against an American, in America, in front of American judges, sometimes you can't rely upon the fairness of the decision.Comment

The knock down didn’t hurt him; it must have been during the fightComment
