Haye is an overrated Brit hypejob with a glass chin. He would probably get KOd by a stiff breeze or a kiss on the cheek. He's been brutally KOd and devastatingly knocked down by ancient cruiser and super middleweight bums. He will be murdered by either Klistchko if he's ****** enough to enter the ring.

.....Sorry, I was possessed by Wladowns for a minute there.

who brutally KO'd haye? thompson? that was haye's 6th fight, he didnt know how to pace himself and gassed out, fatigue is the only reason haye has 1 loss on his record,
mock caught and wobbled haye with a temple shot, those things happen in boxing, both times haye has been hurt he has gone on to win by KO. haye is a more experienced fighter now.

we will see him reign at HW

Considering that American fighters are noticeably absent in current world heavyweight boxing, why is it so important to see how he'll 'fare against tough American opposition'? Even when you dont hold dominance of the division, you still think that you do.

Haye wasnt 'KNOCKED OUT by a nobody cruiserweight'.

Still though wait and see... I mean Cruiserweights are big fellaz as well... but when you step to the heavyweights what ppl don't realize is... that you go up about 4 or 5 weight classes if you think about it. It's different getting hit by a 199 pounder or an 230 pounder or even more... this is an whole different league... so wait and see... he won't loose his power but a lot of his power is in his speed... so strength wise he won't outmuscle regular HW's...
Not exactly, not all the time anyway. A 200 lb-er who can punch can put away fighters of almost any weight where a 230 lb-er won't be able to. Look at McCline, 250-60 lbs and without a devastating punch. there are many orgers like that, too many to list.

Haye might do well as a heavyweight, but we must wait and see. Although the article was very good and readable, The writer may be correct insaying that there's a fairly weak hweavyweight picture, and Haye shouldn't want to fight the best of them by far, Klitschko, who might have been a Champion or top contender in ANY era, as well as Valuev, who would be in a lower, but similiar position.

He correctly sees the flaw in Haye's demands, and wisely suggests that he start "small" or at least "smaller" than his ego urges him to.

I don't think that Haye could beat Juan Carlos Gomez, for whom I have a great deal of respect, and who, if handled better should have been a Heavyweight Champion years ago. He probably still will be, if he ever gets the chance for the matchup. He would toy with Peter, who is, after all, only a slightly bigger version of Samil Sam, whom Gomez just fooled around with, winning every round easily.

He's also a tall guy like Haye although he likes to come in at about 215 or so when he's being serious. He has sledgehammer punching power, and would probably KO Haye....that is, if he took it seriously. There is always that question mark about Gomez, who proved not easy to handle. Just my opinion.

Haye's chin wasn't that great at Cruiser. He's gonna get starched by the first decent HW puncher he faces.

Well he is supposed to have issues with his stamina and his chin. Those problems could lessen at HW, hell they might not be big issues there at all. In this limited HW division, any really talented guy can make something good happen.
I think he will get KTFO by Wlad and Peter, aside from that he might do very well.
