Heavyweight Mission - Can David Haye Succeed?
Collapse
-
Haye talks a good game, and has some skills to go with it.
He is confident of himself and his abilities to take on the top fighters, but it remains to be seen how good he will fare against tough American opposition.
He appears to be much quicker than Wlad, but if and when they face off, the real questions marks will be on their chin and stamina.
They've both tasted the canvass in their careers.

I'm just telling it the way i see it, Haye has all the tools to be the king @ HW, he has the perfect style to destroy Klitschko, he fights well on the inside, something WK doesnt like, WK panics on the inside. I see Haye stopping WK in a similar manner c.sanders stopped him

About the "haters", Haye himself can answer them, even without a belt, if he gets some decent wins at Heavy AND he gets some HUMILITY.

Everybody is hopin Haye gonna be good cuz the division needs a rising star. We ain't got **** else besides Chagaev and Wlad. Peter is never goin to develop into the fighter he could become, you can blame his trainer or his work ethic but he's just gonnna be a heavy guy with good knock out power and bad stamina. Vitali, Valuev and Povetkin all are either borin to watch, always get injured or (in the case of Povetkin) about to be smashed in a title fight. Haye is doin somethin no one else in the division seems to be doin and that's makin it exciting
