I've watched boxing since I was old enough to talk, and I'm 28. I just think his ass should have been able to KO soft fighters like Haugen, Paez, Freddie Pendelton for Gods sake!!!! Yeah he beat some good guys by UD but I just don't see how fans have him above other fighters that beat the same opponents or better.

Pea never ducked a man. People think he beat Dlh, people saw how good he was even when he lost to prime Tito. everyone had Tito to ko Pea. Even Tito wouldn't fight a prime Pea. Pea outclassed everyone and might be the best defensive fighter of all times.

I think currently Oscar is overrated amongst the average boxing viewer, but is rated appropriatly amongst boxing enthuisist - Zab Juddah Also - Jeff Lacy (got exposed though) Wlad (however, theres no competition in heavy weight, so he may be the greatest of all time but he'll never get the chance to prove it) - (I'm suprised no one has said mayweather jr, i don't think he's overatted, but this thread screams "bring on the haters" - I don't think you can say margaritto is overated yet, i think time will tell, that unless you throw cotto into the overated catagory and through him in there before his loss to marg. Past overrates, Tommy Morrison, Sugar Ray Robinson (he beat up on people from his own era, which is so unfair seeing how far ahead of his time he was .... Willie PEP didn't fight 47 times did he, His ruggedness is what makes him great.

Thank you sir. Mugabe was so hyped going into the Hagler fight. Like if Miranda had beaten Pavlik and was slotted to face Taylor, thats the level of hype this guy got. I think the Mancini pick would be more controversial to some because of how close he is to people's hearts.

I don't think Mugabi beat a top 10 contender in his entire career. His whole rep was based on giving an aging Hagler a tough fight.
