He seems to be talking the same game here, so when he shows up in the ring against Banks he will either do like he says and let his hands go and knock my man out... or he will try to fight a defensive fight and get himself caught before he takes control.

I just don't have faith that he can go in there off of a knockout and fight the aggressive fight he needs to get by JB. If he can back Banks up he should be able to win easily, but if he doesent he will be overwhelmed. Banks hits much harder with the left hook and though his right isnt as good as Haye I have little doubt that a clean one will knock Enzo out.
Nice assessment. Your a lot more knowledgeable on Banks and probably Macca than I am which I'm happy to admit. He does talk about letting his hands go, and I'm sure he does in sparring. It's performing in the ring that counts and your right it's not at all far out to say he may well not again especially after a knock out loss. If he gets past the first couple of rounds ok, I think he'll have increased confidence to swing more. I don't think it's a matter of can he perform well, more will he which I accept is clearly highly debatable.

Considering Banks looked bad as his latest fight went on and Macca has been Ko'ed twice early on.

Enzo should expect Banks to come after him right from the first bell.

Before the fight with Castillo I had never even heard of Banks. I went there to see David Tua, but I was very impressed with Banks' heart and survival instincts.

He looked for all the world like he was ready to fold in the first round when he was dropped twice, but he did an excellent job of hanging on and tying up to buy himself some time.

He came back and fought a gritty fight in the third round, really showed some good in-fighting ability. That finishing flurry in the fourth was as impressive as any in a comeback situation.

I like Enzo I wish him luck. Hope he can regain his belt.

When is this fight scheduled for?

I said that last year. No chance though.

Could Enzo make 175? Doubtful. He's a natural CW and doesn't carry excess weight outside of training. He could probably drop a few pounds but 20+? Nah. It'd ruin him if he tried.
