So Cotto would have to fight on the inside to win to Williams.
pwill has a 71 ko percentage, marggarito has a 62 ko percentage.they both wear you down.cotto would need to crush him inside and then do what ever he wants in order to win.

The reason that Margarito has such a low KO percentage is because he didn't have any power when he started at 15, if he were have started when he had power he would have a better percentage and I do agree with you that he has to crush Williams on the inside in order to win but he can't stay on the inside the whole time he has to get in and get out, continously.

I'm saying he'll have to put in work early, he can't outbox williams.his physical advantages are ridiculous.

              Williams UD or late TKO

matter of fact mid round KO by a left hand that dazes cotto and then the volume puching of PWill forces the ref to stop it

I don’t think cotto should try to fight on the inside at all. If he does I think it will be a short night for him. He is a much better boxer than given credit for and if he uses his boxing skills he should do well. I think in the Margarito fight it showed that if you stand in front of Paul he wins but in the Quintana fight it showed that if you move you have a really good chance. The question is; can he keep up with the work rate of Williams and can he get pass Paul’s reach advantage. If I had to pick a winner it would be Paul.

I always felt illiams was vulnerable to body punches in this fight, which could do him in. That and his comfort level makin 147 would be issues. But if he came in strong, I think he'd outwork Cotto for a decision. Dependin on how damaged Cotto was by Tony, Paul could conceiveably accumualte enough damage to stop him late.

i see PW tagging cotto on his way in kinda like judah did those early rounds.. but he will keep working cotto.. and when cotto gets inside, i see williams clinching much more than judah or mosley did.. and eventually his wins a UD..

i doubt williams can take punches like marg took in the cotto fight... i say cotto by ko or ends it early with a body punch? Williams punches are a joke!!!!
