Dan Goossen Adds More Info on Margarito vs. Williams

I like Paul just fine what are you talking about? And he beat Antonio fair and square I just really find it funny that you make it sound like Paul completely obliterated Tony. He won by a few very hard to judge rounds and most "Boxing Experts" agree that the fight could have gone either way. I like good boxers and Paul is a good one but if Tony would have came out the winner in that fight I would be the last person to say that "He Kicked Pauls ass" and I have a feeling that most of you didn't even watch that fight considering how losely you use the word "ass Kicking" over and over again.

Promoter Dan Goossen contacted BoxingScene.com this morning to provide additional details into last year's negotiations for a rematch between Antonio Margarito and Paul Williams [promoted by Goossen], and the reason why Williams sat out until February of this year. [details]

Because Tony wanted a rematch in the ring after he lost the first fight and Gossen said no! The fight was almost a year and a half ago and only now Gossen wants Margarito. When are you ****** ****s gonna realize that neither fighter is afraid of each other and it's the promoters who are holding this thing up. It's about money and if Tony beats Clotty at Dodgers stadiam I geuerentee a fight with williams will pay him 6 million considering how much more popular he will become fighting in the spotlight.

It's boxing dumbass and if you haven't figured out that boxing is about money first then you fail at not only boxing but at life!

post the video where Tony and/or Arum wanted an immediate rematch in the post fight interview or the post fight press conference? Please prove us all wrong. All I heard after the fight was that Arum was going to still work on Tony getting the fight with Cotto since they both felt Tony did not lose which is a mockery in of it self. so you an alt and a liar? wow, I normally don't comment on ppl's spelling mistakes but that is probably the worst attempt at spelling a word I have ever seen. English is not even my first language and I could spell better than you.

and now to answer your post, mayweather as well didn't want to deal with arum and that is the reason he didn't fight margarito. also, baldo was the ww champ and beating him gave him a better shot at getting the dlh fight. beating margarito probably still wouldn't have landed mayweather a shot at dlh and mayweather would have been considered a chicken for ducking baldo the top guy at ww at that time.

in summary

pbf-baldo made more sense than a pbf-marg
marg-will makes more sense than a marg-clottey.

Dude I don't really know if thats in English but I'm a brand new poster on the board and I'm not who you think I am. What I'm trying to point out to you is Margarito fans are dumb to think Williams is afraid of Tony and Williams fans are dumb if they think Tony is afraid of Williams. The promoters are the ones who are are gonna make this fight not the fighters so whenever they (the promoters) come to an agreement there will be no rematch. If it was up to both fighters they would fight tomarrow but since it's not stop making out that way.

margarito will have to man up and face paul but I am not against a clottey rematch since a unification fight with paul will be that much bigger
