    That'd be them.

Floyd was so impressed with their "show" he had Ellerbe contact them and flew them out to Vegas to see the fight.

Battling Nelson didn't fight as an AM. Heck a lot of the old-timers didn't.

      How about Anthony Mundine?

I imagine most Mexicans didnt have long amateur careers. thats why a lot of them have around 30 low level fights early in their career.

Is it just me, or does it seem that there are less and less successful pro boxers coming from the amateurs? I think the new scoring system and everything is really screwing it up

LOL there is NO way the scoring system would favour the mexican fight style.

oh, no haha. I meant amateurs in general messing people up. the two subjects werent really meant to be mixed together.

now that I think about it though, Mexicans are doing a little better than usual in boxing right now, arent they? and they usually dont have much of an amateur career...
maybe the crappy way they do amateurs nowadays hurts the guys trying to transition to pro.
                    or not.
