    Amir Khan vs Breidis Prescott

Do you think Breidis Prescott is a sheep dressed as a wolf?

I can't help but think about typical Warren marketing engine at work. Prescott has won 19 KO 17, hes young, hungry and a good match for Khan, but a 90% KO rate only signals to me he's been fighting bums, unless he really is that good.

He's faught mostly Columbians, Columbian bums I'm not sure of, I'd need to look them up.

    Who ya got?

ps. Breidis Prescott videos much appreciated because I can't find any

Couldn't agree more with you, you know warrens game...

He was just about to set khan up with an old age pensioner which was a guarenteed win. Why would he switch to a dangerous opponent ? because this one looks better on paper , will he look better in the ring ? we will have to wait and find out . Im hoping to see khan take a fall. Not because i hate him, but becasue his Ego is massive and if he thinks he can call out great fighters while he is in the process of taking out bums then he can think again

If it was any other promoter I'd take it seriously, but all know how Warren protects his cashcows.

        I agree fully,

The guy has a good record, looks to have good power etc. But i guess we all remember Carlos Maussa's undefeated record coming out of Columbia

They managed to find a lightweight prospect who has fought worse opposition than Khan.

Now they must fight to see who is the king of the journeymen killers.

Colombian power punchers are notorious for not, in fact, being power punchers. Edison Miranda had a sick KO percentage in Colombia fighting guys with losing records, and while he did have pretty good pop, he started getting taken the distance once he came to the US and went it in his first three fights there. I doubt this guy is much threat to Khan, given its the beginning of a new TV era for him.

He's most likely just a guy with an impressive record to add to Khan's resume, I doubt he's anything special, I wouldn't even be surprised if he didn't punch all that hard but he could surprise me.

I don't know anything about Breidis Prescott, so it's hard to say. I expect Khan to blow him out in the early stages.

If Breidis Prescott has the power that is suggested in his record, Amir Khan will be in big big trouble.

But like the rest of you I do not believe this to be true.

Why would Warren put Khan in with a dangerous fighter on his first PPV outing?
