You and I were watching different things, Hamed wasn't great on defense but it was better than you are giving him credit for.
And Eubank was probably the slickest British boxer outside of Michael Watson in the "Golden Age" of British boxing.
We'll just agree to disagree.Comment

it actually does make a small difference.
because, if you think standing in the pocket bobbing and weaving around shots is easier than using movement and jabbing while floating around the ring, you're wrong...it's easier and less risky to float and fight at range...they are two different kinds of defense. I think if Klitschko would fight in the pocket and not move at all, he would be very 'open defensively' just because how he holds his guard.
Ali was different- he utilized a guard against top world level opponents, bobbed, weaved, and slipped...You do not see Klitschko doing this.Comment

he was good at counter punching on the backfoot but he had a terrible defence when he was attacking he took to many risks and was wide open maybe that is why he got hit more later in his career because he started to believe in his power and was always on the attack where he was more open defensivelyYou and I were watching different things, Hamed wasn't great on defense but it was better than you are giving him credit for.

Eubank took huge punishment that is why his career ended so soon
