    Cotto-Margarito...the arena was 40% EMPTY.

Some of you are trying to portray this fight as a success. IT. WAS. NOT.

It was an enjoyable fight to watch. And it is an enjoyable fight to discuss. The Margarito win has really opened up a lot of options at 147/154 (although Tony is wussing out).

But, COMMERCIALLY, this fight was a disappointment. The arena was 40% empty, and the PPV sales were low.

    Sorry. Just the facts.

No. I'm surprised they even sold 10,000 tickets.

Yes. I was hoping that they would have sold more.

I still don't know how much it did. Why is that...

Because it was a disappointment. So HBO won't issue a press release.

Did you know that the area was nearly half-empty?

Nope...that is why I believe some fights should be free. Boxing is doing this to itself

Let me catch you in an easy lie:

The attendance was 10,477 and the gate was "a touch under $3 million," according to Arum.

MGM Grand garden capacity? Over 17,000.

                    Now, go kill yourself.
