Show anywhere in print or on video where Margarito requested at ANY time an immediate rematch after that fight or claimed that he was owed one and you'll get props. If not you're only going by hear say.

no, I never said that but those are 2 entirely different situations. the welterweight division isn't mayweathers true division. ppl try and make it out to be such a big deal cuz they want to see mayweather in all these fantasy matchups but mayweather already had a great career pre-ww. don't get me wrong, i myself would also like to see mayweather fight marg and cotto even though he would beat them easily. they aren't at his level.

margarito might have wanted an immediate rematch with p-will but thats only cuz his shot at cotto was ruined by that loss and he had nothing else to lose by fighting him again. p-will had every right to turn that match down cuz he already beat him and he had bigger fish to fry(at the time). now is the time for marg to really show that he isn't scared of p-will as he is holding the title and he has a lot to lose by rematching williams. I don't think margarito is a ducker right now but, if he doesn't fight him by mid 2009, there won't be any doubt in my mind that margarito is scared of williams.

People are mixing up not giving a **** with ducking. Floyd once gave a **** about Mosley so he called him out, later in his career Mosley wasn't on his radar.

Good point, but I don't think it applies to the situation Mosley at the time was ready for a huge fight, and it would have been awesome. You make it seem like fighting Mosley would be a waste of time, the dude is an all time great who fought everybody.

Mosley just fought 2 world champions and is fighting Mayorga to stay on the networks to continue makin waves. He will continue fighting well past his prime and will probably see PPV again. He would have been a great name on Floyd's resume that is lacking names on Mosley's level. Floyd can wait till everyone unifies, he is certainly an amazing fighter that deserves the highest caliber of opponents, but he turned down a great chance to give a masterpiece to the fans that would help him be remembered in a better way. If they fought we'd get an amazing show of handspeed and defense from both fighters, and it'd be well worth the 50 dollars to see it.

Everrrryone wants to talk about the time where he let his boss fight Mayweather instead. Yeah ok, mayweather was going to fight mosley instead of oscar.... Yea right! Then RIGHT after the fight Mosley is willing to fight him again but all anyone can remember is him stepping aside to let oscar fight him first. Let's go back to calling Mosley mr dentist.. the same guy that fought winky twice when noone wanted any of that.
