no, its not bad, ... but what ive been sayin is why cant marge fight de la hoya and then in 2009 take on williams .... they aint gonna retire anytime soon except for de la hoya... so why cant marge take on de la hoya first.

De La Hoya is talking out of his backside. It just seems like he wants to end his career against a beatable name. Like Pacquaio who would have to jump up 2 weight classes to fight Oscar, Sergio Mora who doesn't have much power, or a guy like Floyd Mayweather who is naturally smaller and doesn't have much power at welterweight.

Nothing, i have no issue with any unification matches. But Williams calling out margarito is fine, but so is margarito fighting clottey, unification is a big deal especially at welter.

I think it's pretty hard to argue here with some fella'z cuz you guys have simply too much temper... I like and appreciate that you support your fighters but you should also understand that other support their fighters...

I think this whole ducking thing has nothing to do in boxing... this is a blood sport... and every fighter has balls... sometimes they choose money or mind over balls but it doesn't change the facht that everyone has guts. If you folks mean fear with ducking I have to disagree big time... if ducking means avoiding a fight for whatever reasons... it happens... but as he said (and it doesn't change what he said) he fights the winner of Cotto-Marga who really thought that he would face Marga??? We all knew what it meant... I fight Cotto... but he couldn't say it like that because that would have been really disrespectful... even before the fight the Marga fans already said even if he wins he will never fight him... that DLH now wanted to fight Pac fuel'd the fire... but Pac is the bigger draw and yes the fight is an absolute joke... but like I said I don't know why folks spending so much attention on it... DLH has nothing to do with competive boxing anymore... he is there and he's a draw... but even his hardcore fans can't say anything good about DLH and his last few years... with the exception of how good he once was... so yes, it's an good payday that he misses... but the fight itself would have done nothing for him, with the exception of money... he should fight Clottey and Williams and if he beat both he has done way more for his legacy then a fight with DLH would do... and after he beats these two eventually... Cotto should be around for the rematch...

Clottey JUST won that title and if Margarito doesnt fight him, i think Williams should go after him. Margarito/Clottey i guess is gonna happen in november, that leaves only Andre Berto and we both know hes locked in with forbes. Welterweight is an allout mess.

Either way Margarito coming off of a knockout of cotto is the obvious reason as to why williams is trying to fight him, besides, on one hand you all talk about how feared margarito is because dlh is ducking him, but its clear others want to fight him, and when those others are brought up, excuses are made as to why margarito shouldnt bother with them.
