The bottom line is that DLH has nothing to gain out of this fight. If Cotto couldn't bring Margarito down with that kind of accurate counterpunching, then DLH sure as hell has no ****ing chance. The truth is DLH doesn't want such a brutal and punishing fight as his farewell fight for two reasons: First off he has almost no chance at winning anyway. Secondly, even if he were to somehow win a decision he would be half dead doing it.

While the details about him and de la hoya are pretty obvious, i dont remember AT ALL Margarito trying to get a rematch with Williams. I dont remember him commenting on it, nor do i remember seeing any public outlet that says otherwise. Even then, if that whole thing was true, why does he ignore williams when speaking publicly, im a little skeptical on that one because if he wanted to, or tried to rematch him, he would have said so and dismissed williams for not taking the rematch sooner. He doesnt having a problem disucssing mayweather not wanting to fight him, he should have the same about williams.

The De La Hoya thing though is making him look bad, De La Hoya really needs to rethink his approach with these fights, because his reputation for always taking on the best and the toughest challanges will go out the window with this fight unfortunately.
