Williams was supposed to fight Cintron til he pulled out of that fight with an injury and Williams was stuck with Quintana while Cintron tried to make a fight with Cotto, but was told he had to beat Margarito before he got that fight. Good article with almost everything Margarito said on point.

Blah, blah, blah... At the end of the day it simply doesn't matter. Oscar is not going to fight Margarito without an act of congress. Margarito can face either Joshua Clottey or Paul Williams. Or he could fight Kermit in a trilogy!

DLH is shot, I find it sad that all the big name fighters from Pacquiao to Margarito are calling him out. DLH barley beat former JLW Steve Forbes and I doubt he can beat any of the top 10 welterweights. DLH needs to retire and stick to promoting.

During a recent ESPN Radio interview, De La Hoya would state his case on why he was refusing to accept Margarito's challenge. According to De La Hoya, Margarito has "unfinished business" that he needs to clear up with Paul Williams, the current WBO welterweight champion. De La Hoya feels that Williams is being disrespected when Margarito is labeled as "the best welterweight" in the sport.

"First of all, Antonio Margarito had a great win against Miguel Cotto. That's wonderful for him. I wish him all the best and I've always prided myself on fighting everybody. Fighting the best from Bernard Hopkins to Floyd Mayweather. I just feel personally that Antonio Margarito has some unfinished business to take care of against Paul Williams. I just felt it's disrespectful to Paul Williams to call Antonio Margarito the best welterweight out there. We can not forget about Paul Williams. That's just the way I feel," De La Hoya said. Wow, just ****ing wow, best article I've read in months. Glad the whole Williams fiasco was exposed to the public, and I'm glad Tony is pushing for this fight. Oscar you are a crossdressing coward, if you ain't gonna fight Tony then just retire ****face.
