I don't know why so many people think Margarito can't beat Williams. Last time he fought the wrong fight(even though much of it had to do with Williams making him fight the wrong fight) but we all remember the last rounds when Tony was coming back strong. Plus now he's even better than before, and Williams doesn't have the invincibility anymore etc. A rematch CAN go either way.

And since Margarito has done a lot more than Williams and a rematch can go either way, I do think Antonio Margarito is the best at 147.

Do you see Margarito losing to Williams?

Why do you need a third-party argument when you have head-to-head facts? I think Paul has clearly answered the Quintana question...don't you?

The Mexicants can use as many excuses as they want. We all know the deal: Toni knows that his belts are gone the next time he climbs in the ring with The Punisher.

I dont think so just yet,

I say if he beats Cotto yes, Then he would have a win on the top 2.

I think Cottos style would beat Paul Williams by getting him on the inside.

Sure Cotto lost to Marg and williams didnt but Paul lost to Quintana and Cotto didnt, he mite have avenged the defeat but who says Miguel wouldnt do the same against Marg?
Got no probs with someone pickin Punisher but theres still questions.
Without Question the best at 147 is where i hav the problem
Quintana barely won a decision against Williams. Margarito made Cotto quit. Big difference, it will be hard for Cotto to come back from such a beating.

Why is Margarito better? New trainer? better fitness? New massage therapist? Why is margarito "even better than before'?... on the basis of what?

Against Cotto, he was, er, Antonio Margarito. Nothing different. Cotto just doesn't have the size, activity or durability to deal with him. Williams does.

Gimme a break with that ****. Thats your only argument which is getting old is most likely not the case.

They both took a beating from the fight, Margarito was feelin the same pain as cotto the next day.

Cotto is ready and willing to make some comeback fights so I feel he is gonna bounce back.

A wins a win. And if ur gonna go that way Paul Barely beat Tony. Cotto will comeback from this trust me.

My point aint even that Cotto is the best thats just my opinion but to say Williams is the best without question is absurd

Antonio Margarito hasnt changed up his style since Amateur.

He supposedly wanted to start off quicker?? I didnt see that in the cotto fight.

If Cotto is such a great inside fighter...if Cotto is so effective 'getting inside on a taller fighter', then why didn't he do that, errrr, IN HIS LAST ****ING FIGHT??

In fact, when is the last time that Cotto beat somebody 'inside'? I saw him moving away from Shane the last 4-5 rounds, and moving away from tony the WHOLE NIGHT.

What is this "inside fighter" myth with Miguelito?
