It's pretty obvious this fight will happen after Calzaghe's fought Roy, Calzaghe said the same things about Hopkins before he fought him, he said the same things about Jones a while back, but he's still going to fight him, right?

NO its because Calzaghe is the UNDISPUTED light heavy weight champion, and he beacame that JUST after beating Kessler last year!He makes all of these claims of beating the best BUT DAMN WHO BHOP and Kessler? Lacy was the only true champion he beat .....just like Taylor is the only true champion Pavlik beat so what NOBODY seams to see is that CALZAGHE VS PAVLIK would be the perfect fight match up and TRUE test of the last 10 years at least in their division! I'm not pissed at just the ludicrous posts in this thread and about Calzaghe, it's happening all over the place about practically every fighter.

This place just lacks decent discussion nowadays.

I used to take a fighter by his word, but it really doesn't mean alot anymore.. nowadays I tend to sit back and observe, because if the fight happens.. nothing but the outcome matters.

Its better that slappy joe would just admit that he is afraid of pavlik because he is young and dangerous, rather than make lame excuses such as this or that kessler is better than pavlik and he beat kessler, pathetic.
