Pavlik is also a champion so both teams are obligated to make the first step and neither have to my knowledge.Williams was a hype fight that was created to give some rep to Paul for calling out the middleweight champion.That fight won't happen,instead he is a fighting a lightheavyweight at a catchweight that he might lose to.He wanted Calzaghe who is better than Abraham in every department except defense.I think Pavlik would lose to all of them so it don't matter to me what fight happens.

Actually, Joe was on the radio last night saying that Pavlik has ducked him twice, once when Jow wanted him as a tune up instead of Bika and another time after one of the Taylor fights, didn't say which. So whether its true or not, you do hear people say it. Please realise as well that its only since Joe made it clear he was going to fight Jones that Kelly's people have been saying he wants Calzaghe.

I think right now Pavlik is pretty much ducking Abraham, I haven't heard a word about the Armenian out of his mouth since Arthur decimated Miranda, and straight after Lockett when Max Kellerman basically told him that Abraham was his only meaningful fight, Kelly basically said he wasn't going to fight him.
