Have you ever even seen Kessler fight?

Its ludicrous that you are unable to notice that Kessler is faster and more skilful than Pavlik by a country mile.

I have just realised how ludicrous this "Pavlik's resume is much better tha Kessler's" is. That would be true if we were talking about a string of tough defences, but we're not. As someone else just pointed out, the difference is ONE man, which is no difference at all. If Pavlik didn't have that ONE man, Kessler's resume would clearly be better.

Once he faces Hopkins that would make two.It is not a defense of his belt but it could cost him his (0).

I think you overrate Mikkel's resume a little badger. Kelly's is not fantastic either but in my view having Taylor times 2 on it does make it a lot better than Kessler's. Kessler's best win is Mundine. His other notable wins are Andrade (tough but ordinary), Beyer (an overprotected fighter who did not even go out there to win the fight anyway), Siaca (a reasonable but very beatable fighter), Lucas (similar to Siaca in that he is reasonable but very beatable) and Sartison. This is not the resume of a borderline top 10 p4p figher in my view.

Kessler may well be better than Pavlik. What I am saying is that we cannot go proclaiming Kessler as someone who is a top elite fighter right now because the only time he has been in there and tested against a top guy he was not able to do what was necessary. To be honest I think the attitude that Pavlik is far superior to Kessler is equally as ridiculous as those who say that Kessler would destroy him.

I think Kessler probably has the better skills but skills aren't everything.
