Well what's the point of argueing over this?

Even the most hardened Pavlik fans will admitt Kessler is technically better than him and on paper SHOULD win, untill they fight (if they ever do) we will never know. Pavlik has great heart and work rate going for him, are those enough to beat Kessler? If it was enough for Marg to beat Cotto, who knows?

On paper Kessler is the better and more skillfull fighter.

I agree there is little point in arguing on the topic. I don't think you can say either is difinitively superior over the other and in those instances I think it comes back to resume in which case Pavlik would get the slight edge.
