If this is true this is funnier than Oscar's "personal vendetta" against Pacquiao.

    Consider this:

    Calzaghe:
    2006-03-04 Jeff Lacy (168)
    2006-10-14 Sakio Bika (168)

    Pavlik:
    2005-10-07 Fulgencio Zuniga (159)
    2006-07-27 Bronco McKart (160)
and this was before fighting Pierre, Zertuche, Miranda, and Taylor I.

    Pathetic.

Wasn't it talked about when Calzaghe was looking for any American just to show off on and they ended up getting Manfredo.

I don't see how its so pathetic though man when Kelly was very comfortable at super middleweight for Taylor, and now he's gonna be a light heavy-weight? Maybe Kelly had openly expressed desire to move up to SMW.

I dunno. I don't condone fighters picking fighters from lower weights, but I wouldnt go so far to say its as bad or worse than De la Hoya Pacquiao

Regardless of what happened in the past right now both are calling for the fight so what is stopping it from being made now. If joe's argument for not fighting him now is "well when i wanted to fight him he didn't want to fight so what can i do?" like someone said earlier fight him now. Which i think is going to happen anyway. I feel when boxers starting talking about each other like this they are going to fight they just want to stir the pot a bit and have everyone in and around boxing go crazy and talking about it online.....like we are right now.

Yeah I dont understand Joe sometimes. He said all that, and then he says that it is his last fight and he wants to retire undefeated. He knows Kelly is a huge threat. I hope the fight happens.

This is a joke, what would Calzaghe have to gain in fighting this guy at that point in time. This is what i'm trying to tell people. The guy has skills no doubt about it, but WTF was the guy doing still fighting in Wales with a record of even 35-0?!?!?!?! He doesn't come to the US, and he says people ducked him. Bring his ass over here and shoot his mouth off, win a big fight, then everyone will be willing to have a big pay day with Joe and fight him.

No he stays in Wales and fights these guys, complains about being ducked, and then and only then decides it's time to come to the US at the age of 35, to fight a 43 year old man?!?!?!?!?!

                    YEAH great champion!!

he wants to fight him now because he actually came over to the USA why the hell would Pavlik leave to England. Besides at the time nobody but Wales knew who Calzaghe was.

I highly doubt Pavlik is even the slightest bit afraid of Calzaghe.
