Roy didn't fight or beat Glen Homie. But he did lose to Glen Johnson. Glen Homie was a bad man.

Ironically, save for the mainstream clout, Leonard and Jones were quite similar. Another irony is that Leonard lost it far earlier than Jones did. I wonder how these new fans would take that now.
Sugar Ray Lenoard was no sloutch himself fellas...he could throw triple left hooks and other various combos with the speed of light....he took a punch better then RJJ and he won titles in multiple divisions WW, SWW, MW, & LHW. I say that is equal to Jones doing MW, SMW, LHW and HW? Would you agree...........

Leonard also won a title at SMW in the same fight he won a title at LHW which was against Donny Lalonde, the only time that has happened I believe.

The LHW title was a sort of farce but it doesn't matter. Leonard should be rated higher. End of story.

Roy would probably win head to head because he is the much bigger guy but as far as p4p i would give it to ray leonard his opponents were much better

You can't deny Roy being one of the most gifted boxers / athletes of our generation. But he didn't have the type of fights Leonard had that basically made him into a household name.

Its arguable, but in the end it comes to who you prefer.

                    I've always admired Ray

Roy Jones would win, ray Leonard is a great boxer, one of the best ever - but Jones would have his number, he's to big and Leonard couldn't hurt him. You saw what the hard punching Trinidad did to Jones, absolutely nothing, Leonard wouldn't hurt Jones.

In terms of greatest obviously Leonard surpasses him, but in a style match up like this Jones wins. Hearns gave him hell, Jones has Hearns power and speed only with better endurance and defense.
