I seem to remember that Marquez's "want" figure was $1.5 mill. I think that's why Arum walked away so definitely, feeling that with that sort of demand, there was no dealing with him. Someone with real evidence, please correct me if I'm wrong.

This is an obscene amount from someone who would settle for 30k to fight Chris John. Beristan priced him right out of the fight in my opinion. Does anybody know what Marquez's previous high was before the 750,000 offer?

Its true JMM's boyfriend Beristain priced themselves out with Pacman, during their proposed rematch... they settled for Chris John and lost...
JMM is after Pac for the money... if Beristain wanted more money for JMM, why not have his boy-toy fight DLH... it would be easier since JMM is under Golden Girl Promotion...

by that same token, PW should be asking for a fight w/ oscar b/c he beat margo.........

Pacquiao has a bigger following than floyd globally, but does he actually stand a chance of beating oscar? Also, does anybody want to see a blown-up flyweight fight a middleweight? I still think the fight will go ahead - unfortunatly. But, if it falls through he de la hoya had better step-up to the plate and fight margarito or even cotto. **** mora! You let me know when you come across an article that Floyd ducked Margs and Cotto. When you come across that article, let me know. I can't find that "Margs won't rematch Williams article", so if you do come across an article saying Floyd ducked fighters, post it.
